No. Our maintenance plans work with your existing hosting provider — whether you're on SiteGround, WP Engine, Bluehost, Kinsta, or any other reputable host. We'll request the necessary access credentials during onboarding and work within your current environment. If you'd like hosting recommendations or a migration to a faster host, we can help with that separately.
Our plans cover ongoing maintenance tasks, not new development work. The following are outside the scope of monthly maintenance and would be quoted separately: building new pages or features, custom plugin or theme development, e-commerce setup or major redesigns, third-party software integrations, and paid advertising management. We'll always give you a clear quote before doing any out-of-scope work — no surprise invoices.
If your site is hacked while under our care, malware removal is covered at no extra charge on all plans. We'll identify the infection, clean all infected files, patch the vulnerability that allowed entry, and restore from a clean backup if necessary. We also submit a review request to Google to get any search blacklisting removed. While no one can guarantee 100% hack immunity, our security layering makes your site a very hard target.
Standard clients get 2 hours per month; Premium clients get 5 hours per month. You can request content updates by email or through our client portal any time during the month. We track time transparently and will notify you if a request would exceed your allotment. Hours are calculated at 15-minute increments. Unused hours expire at month end and do not roll over. Additional hours beyond your plan limit are available at $95/hour.
All plans include uptime monitoring that automatically alerts our team 24/7 — meaning critical outages are addressed even outside business hours without you having to report them. For non-critical issues, Standard clients receive priority email and chat support with a 24-hour response guarantee; Premium clients add phone support during business hours (9am–6pm ET, Mon–Fri). Emergency on-call support outside business hours can be added to any plan for an additional fee — ask us for details.
Absolutely. There are no annual contracts or cancellation fees. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time — changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. To cancel, simply give us 30 days written notice. We'll provide you with a full site backup and all access credentials so you can hand off to another provider or manage the site yourself without any friction.
